وزیراعظم شہباز شریف سے بحرین کے وزیر خارجہ عبداللطیف الزیانی نے ملاقات کی، جس میں پاکستان اور بحرین کے درمیان دوطرفہ تعلقات، باہمی تعاون اور علاقائی و عالمی صورتحال پر تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔
بحرین کے وزیر خارجہ ڈاکٹر عبداللطیف بن راشد الزیانی پاک بحرین مشترکہ وزارتی کمیشن کے تیسرے اجلاس کی مشترکہ صدارت کے لیے پاکستان آئے ہیں۔
ترجمان وزارت خارجہ کے مطابق وزیراعظم نے بحرینی وزیر خارجہ کا خیرمقدم کرتے ہوئے بحرین کی قیادت اور عوام کے لیے نیک خواہشات کا اظہار کیا۔ انہوں نے پاکستان اور بحرین کے درمیان دیرینہ اور برادرانہ تعلقات کو سراہتے ہوئے کہا کہ دونوں ممالک کے تعلقات مشترکہ اقدار، باہمی اعتماد اور عوامی روابط پر قائم ہیں۔
شہباز شریف نے پاکستان اور بحرین کے دوطرفہ تعلقات میں مثبت پیشرفت پر اطمینان کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے تجارت، سرمایہ کاری سمیت مختلف شعبوں میں تعاون مزید بڑھانے کے عزم کا اعادہ کیا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ مشترکہ وزارتی کمیشن کا تیسرا اجلاس پاکستان اور بحرین کے باہمی تعلقات کو مزید مضبوط بنانے میں اہم کردار ادا کرے گا۔
His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif during his visit to Pakistan to Co-Chair the 3rd Session of the Pakistan-Bahrain Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC), along with the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister of Pakistan.
The Prime Minister warmly welcomed the Bahraini Foreign Minister and conveyed his best wishes to the leadership and people of Bahrain. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s deep appreciation for the longstanding and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Bahrain, founded on shared values, mutual trust, and close people-to-people ties.
The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction over the positive trajectory of bilateral relations and underscored Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening cooperation with Bahrain in diverse fields, including trade, investment, energy, and human resource development..
Foreign Minister Al Zayani conveyed the greetings and good wishes of the leadership of Bahrain to the Prime Minister and reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to further enhancing bilateral cooperation across mutually beneficial areas.
The two sides exchanged views on regional and international developments and emphasized the importance of continued consultations and coordination on issues of mutual interest. Foreign Minister Al Zayani appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role and mediation efforts aimed at promoting peace and stability in the region.
The Prime Minister expressed confidence that the 3rd Session of the Pakistan-Bahrain Joint Ministerial Commission would provide further impetus to bilateral cooperation and contribute to deepening the multifaceted relationship between the two countries.
The meeting was held in a warm and cordial atmosphere, reflecting the close and longstanding fraternal ties between Pakistan and Bahrain.

ملاقات کے دوران دونوں جانب سے علاقائی اور عالمی صورتحال پر بھی تبادلہ خیال کیا گیا۔ فریقین نے باہمی دلچسپی کے امور پر مسلسل مشاورت اور رابطہ برقرار رکھنے کی اہمیت پر زور دیا۔
اعلامیے کے مطابق ملاقات پاکستان اور بحرین کے درمیان قریبی، دیرینہ اور برادرانہ تعلقات کی عکاسی کرتی ہے۔
پاکستان اور بحرین کا مختلف شعبوں میں تعاون بڑھانے پر اتفاق
اس سے قبل نائب وزیراعظم اسحاق ڈار اور مملکت بحرین کے وزیر خارجہ نے پاکستان، بحرین مشترکہ وزارتی کمیشن کے تیسرے اجلاس کی کارروائی کے منٹس پر مشتمل پروٹوکول پر دستخط کر دیئے۔
پروٹوکول میں تجارت و سرمایہ کاری، زراعت و غذائی تحفظ، تیل، گیس و معدنیات، بحری امور، انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی و ٹیلی کمیونیکیشن، صحت، تعلیم اور محنت سمیت مختلف شعبوں میں تعاون سے متعلق مفاہمت شامل ہے۔
Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar @MIshaqDar50 and the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, H.E. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, signed the Protocol recording the Minutes of the 3rd Session of the Pakistan–Bahrain Joint Ministerial Commission at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.
The Minutes record understandings on cooperation in trade and investment, agriculture and food security, oil, gas and minerals, maritime affairs, information technology and telecommunications, health, education and labour, among other areas.
Both sides agreed to establish a Joint Working Group on Trade and Investment at the Government level as an institutional mechanism for regular consultations, coordination and cooperation on bilateral trade and investment.
