جنوبی افریقا کے دو بڑے شہروں میں فائرنگ کے واقعات میں 27 افراد ہلاک اور متعدد زخمی ہو گئے۔
خبر رساں ادارے رائٹرز کے مطابق جوہانسبرگ کے جنوب مغربی قصبے میں واقع بار میں فائرنگ کے واقعے میں17 افراد ہلاک اور 15 افراد زخمی ہو گئے۔
چند روز قبل بھی جنوبی افریقا کے مشرقی صوبہ کوازولو کے علاقے جنوبی ڈربن میں ایک گھر میں پارٹی کے دوران فائرنگ سے حاملہ خاتون سمیت 11 افراد ہلاک اور تین زخمی ہو گئے تھے۔ وقوعہ سے فرار ہونے سے پہلے حملہ آوروں نے گھر کے مالک کی گاڑی کو آگ بھی لگا دی۔

پولیس کا کہنا ہے کہ مسلح افراد نے بار میں موجود لوگوں پر رائفلوں اور پستول سے فائرنگ کی، فائرنگ کے محرکات ابھی معلوم نہیں ہو سکے ہیں۔

Gauteng police have launched a manhunt for eight unidentified armed men following a deadly shooting at a tavern in Extension 3, Wedela, West Rand District, on Saturday, 26 September 2026, at approximately 21:30.
It is alleged that patrons were drinking inside and outside the tavern when the suspects arrived and opened fire on those outside. The suspects then entered the tavern and continued shooting at patrons inside. The suspects were reportedly armed with AK-47 rifles and pistols. They allegedly searched some patrons and took their cellphones before fleeing the scene in two unidentified motor vehicles. Two vehicles were also set alight during the incident.
A total of 17 people, comprising 13 males and four females, were shot and killed during the incident. Emergency Medical Services declared all 17 victims dead at the scene. Fifteen other victims sustained gunshot wounds and were transported to medical facilities for further medical treatment.
The motive for the shooting is unknown at this stage. Gauteng police have mobilised a team of detectives and other specialised units to trace and apprehend the suspects.
Police have opened 17 counts of murder, 15 counts of attempted murder and two counts of malicious damage to property.
No arrests have been made at this stage. Investigations are ongoing.

فائرنگ کا دوسرا واقعہ کیپ ٹاؤن میں پیش آیا جہاں مسلح افراد نے انٹرٹینمنٹ وینیو پر اندھا دھند فائرنگ کرکے 10 افراد کو ہلاک اور 11 کو زخمی کر دیا اور موقع سے فرار ہو گئے۔
پولیس نے دونوں واقعات کے ملزمان کی تلاش کیلئے آپریشن شروع کر دیا ہے تاہم کوئی گرفتاری میں نہیں آئی۔
جنوبی افریقا میں فائرنگ کے واقعات عام ہیں ، پولیس کے مطابق حالیہ فائرنگ کے واقعات میں بھی مسلح گروہوں اور جرائم سے متعلق مختلف عوامل کا کردار ہو سکتا ہے، تاہم ان دونوں واقعات کے محرکات ابھی واضح نہیں ہوئے۔
