The appeal challenges the rating officer’s decision, asserting that the rejection of the nomination papers contradicts the facts presented in the petition.

Additionally, it alleges that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) maliciously tampered with the endorser’s block code. The legal team is urging the Tribunal to declare the rejection of the nomination papers null and void.

ECP has set a deadline of January 3 for filing appeals against the rejection or acceptance of nomination papers.
