Khaled Meshaal addresses mammoth pro-Palestine JUIF gathering

PESHAWAR: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Saturday condemned Israeli aggression against Palestinians while speaking to the Mufti Mahmood Conference held in Peshawar.

“If the Islamic countries allow us (passage) we are ready to join the fight on the frontlines,” said Rehman.

He further said that Israel is demonstrating brutality against Palestinians and is crossing the limits of oppression.

Khaled Meshaal and Maulana and Fazlur Rehman on Friday had a telephonic conversation, to discuss the ongoing conflict with Israel.

Khaled Meshaal served as the leader of Hamas from 1996 until 2017, before he was succeeded by the current chief, Ismail Haniyeh.
