KARACHI: Sindh Education Department has proposed four-day election holiday from February 6 to February 9 in the province, due to general election scheduled to be held on February 8.

The Department Presents Summary to CM Maqbool Baqar Recommending Closure of Schools, Colleges, and Universities in the Province from February 6th to February 9th.

An official notification regarding four-day election holiday in Sindh will be announced after the approval of the CM.

On Wednesday, Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi declared a four-day election break for educational institutions throughout Punjab, encompassing both private and public schools, colleges, and universities. All educational establishments in the province will remain closed from February 6th to February 9th, coinciding with the general election scheduled for February 8, 2024.
