FIA summons Aleema Khan

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has issued a notice to Aleema Khan, the sister of former prime minister Imran Khan, to appear before its Cybercrime Reporting Centre in Islamabad on February 3.

The notice states that Aleema Khan is facing charges of intimidation, creating violence in society and public fear through cyber systems. The FIA said that it is conducting an inquiry against her in the state’s prosecution.

Aleema Khan has not yet responded to the FIA notice. She has the right to present her clarification and defend herself before the FIA. However, if she fails to show up, the FIA will assume that she has nothing to say in her defense and proceed with the legal action against her.
