Pakistan partners with China on Moon programme

ISLAMABAD: In a significant development, Pakistan has taken a notable stride forward by formally entering into an initial cooperation agreement with China to participate in its lunar base programme, which is geared toward establishing a research station on the Moon’s South Pole.

The signing of this agreement was witnessed by the caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar and Chinese Premier Li Qiang, as per an official statement reported by Gwadar Pro.

The China National Space Administration (CNSA) has outlined that this collaborative effort between Pakistan and China in the lunar project will encompass various aspects, including the engineering and operational components of the Chinese lunar base program. INP
