FACT CHECK: Is video of motorized paragliders from recent Hamas-Israel conflict?

The Claim

Hamas fighters landed in Israel using motorized paragliders.

The Fact

The video is of an Egyptian military academy.

The Story

A Twitter account with the name of Jackson Hinkle shared a video seemingly depicting Hamas fighters using motorized paragliders to land in Israel as part of an unexpected series of attacks by the Palestinian militant group.

“If this much damage has been done by a few motorized paragliders and moped militias, I can’t imagine what will happen if this unfolds into a full-blown Arab conflict. Praying for peace,” he captioned the video.

However, if you look closely, the building of the Egyptian military academy can be seen in the video, which establishes that the video is not of the recent Israeli-Hamas conflict.
