Karachi: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar engaged in discussions with leaders of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Wednesday, focusing on matters of provincial significance.

Having assumed office as the caretaker Prime Minister just last week, Kakar is presently on a two-day visit to Karachi.

During this visit, he convened a meeting with a delegation from the PPP. The delegation comprised prominent figures including Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab, Qaim Ali Shah, Syed Murad Ali Shah, and Saeed Ghani.

In the session, the PPP delegation briefed the Prime Minister about the ongoing challenges confronting Sindh province, particularly the city of Karachi.

In response, the Prime Minister offered reassurances that all necessary measures would be taken promptly to address these concerns and to arrive at equitable solutions.

Furthermore, the delegation extended their felicitations to Mr. Kakar for his recent appointment as the Prime Minister. They acknowledged the weight of responsibilities accompanying his new role.

Accompanying Kakar throughout the meeting was the caretaker Federal Minister for Information, Murtaza Solangi.
