PESHAWAR: The interim Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Azam Khan, has taken stringent action in response to the distribution of more than 50 vehicles to officials without proper authorization.

A formal notice has been issued by Chief Minister Azam Khan, prompting the immediate retrieval of these vehicles.

Consequently, the KP Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department have followed suit by releasing a circular containing explicit instructions for the swift return of the unlawfully distributed vehicles.

These vehicles were provided without the due approval of the caretaker Chief Minister.

According to the circular, these unauthorized vehicles are required to be returned within a span of three days, as conveyed by the Secretary of the Excise Department.

In an effort to streamline the process, a comprehensive list has been prepared, enumerating the vehicles subject to retrieval.
