Alleged impersonators rob businessman of Rs15 Million in Lahore

LAHORE: Two individuals, suspected to be dacoits posing as policemen, reportedly robbed a businessman of Rs15 million in the Ichhra area of Lahore.
According to reports, the incident unfolded when four riders on two motorcycles approached the trader, claiming that the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) from Mughalpura Station had requested his presence.

Upon arriving at the Mughalpura underpass, the alleged imposters, disguised as law enforcement officers, brandished a rifle, handcuffed the businessman, and forcibly seized the substantial sum of money.
Following the robbery, the culprits made their escape in a nearby parked car.
Local authorities have registered a complaint against the unidentified individuals impersonating the police.
