9 police stations in Pindi get new SHOs

Rawalpindi Police

RAWALPINDI: Nine police stations in the garrison city of Rawalpindi have seen a change in their top officers after Station House Officers (SHO) were reportedly dismissed over their inability to control street crime.

New SHOs, including Inspector Akbar Abbas, Inspector Tariq Mehmood, and Inspector Muhammad Arshad, have been appointed in their place.

The changes seem to have occurred in the wake of investigations initiated against the former Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations, Aamir Niazi following serious allegations against him.
