TRIGGER WARNING: Minor dead in Karachi after gang rape

KARACHI: A 13-year old girl from Qambar Shahdadkot has died at Civil Hospital Karachi where she was brought for treatment following a gang rape.

The victim, hailing from Mirankot area of Qambar Shahdadkot, was abducted by five people about a month ago.

Eight-year-old girl raped, murdered

The kidnappers had moved her to an undisclosed location where they brutally tortured and raped her before finally throwing her by a road side.

All five were successful in evading the scene and are yet to be apprehended.

Three women raped in Lahore in 24 hours, no arrests made

The teen victim was earlier shifted to Chandka Hospital Larkana where the staff could not cater to her medical needs, and referred her to civil hospital Karachi.

Civil hospital sources say she could not be saved despite an all-out effort by medics. -INP
