ABBOTTABAD: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Parliamentarian leader Pervez Khattak expressed his belief that the upcoming elections may face a delay.

In a media interaction on Saturday, Pervez Khattak asserted that he does not envision elections occurring in the country and suggested that a postponement would provide his party with more time for preparations.

Khattak emphasized that if this matter is brought before the court, it could further extend the election timeline, but he affirmed their commitment to accepting the court’s verdict.

Furthermore, he accused Chairman PTI of violating the Official Secrets Act and demanded accountability for such actions. Khattak criticized the chairman for misleading the public, as they had regarded him as a savior, while he allegedly disseminated falsehoods.

Khattak clarified their stance, stating that they were never in favour of clashing with institutions. He added that the PDM has contributed to unemployment and inflation, asserting that they have not benefitted the country.
