Pakistan defeat Netherlands by 81 runs

HYDERABADL: In the World Cup clash, Pakistan emerged victorious over the Netherlands, defeating them by a margin of 81 runs. Pakistan posted a total of 286 runs on the scoreboard, while the Netherlands managed to score 205 runs in 40 overs.

Bas de Leede was the standout performer for the Dutch side, amassing 67 runs, while Vikramjit Singh contributed 52 runs to the team’s total. Logan van Beek scored 28 runs, Colin Ackermann added 17, and Saqib Zulfiqar chipped in with 10 runs.

Haris Rauf claimed 3 wickets, and Hasan Ali secured 2 wickets for Pakistan. Shahin Afridi, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Nawaz, and Shadab Khan each took one wicket.

For Pakistan, Mohammad Rizwan and Saud Shakeel were the star performers, both accumulating 68 runs each. Mohammad Nawaz contributed 39 runs, Shadab Khan added 32, and Imam-ul-Haq scored 15 runs before being dismissed.

Fakhar Zaman and Shahin Shah Afridi scored 12 runs each, Iftikhar Ahmed contributed 9, Haris Rauf made 6, and Captain Babar Azam scored 5 runs.

Bas de Leede was the top bowler for the Netherlands, claiming 4 wickets. Aryan Dutt, Logan van Beek, Colin Ackermann, and Paul van Meekeren each took one wicket.

Saud Shakeel was named the player of the match.
