New Year celebrations: Lahore CTO orders strict action against motorcyclists without silencers

LAHORE: According to the Lahore City Traffic Officer, a stringent crackdown has been mandated on one-wheelers, stunt performers, and motorcyclists without silencers during the New Year’s celebrations in Lahore.

Checkpoints have been set up at 90 locations across the city, and legal actions will be taken against one-wheelers and their support vehicles.

SP Sohail Fazil, SP Shahzad Khan, and SP Akramullah will supervise the crackdown. Additional personnel will be deployed with specific assignments to monitor motorcyclists at key locations, including Main Boulevard Gulberg, Allama Iqbal Road, Main Boulevard DHA, The Mall, Jail Road, Ferozepur Road, Canal Road, and GT Road.
