New academic session set to kick off in April across Punjab

LAHORE: The new education session throughout the province of Punjab will commence on April 1st, according to a recent notification issued by the Punjab Schools Education Department.

The Punjab Schools Education Department in its notification has outlined a schedule, indicating key dates for examinations and the initiation of the academic year.

Matriculation Part 2 exams are scheduled to commence on March 1st, providing students with an early start on their academic evaluations. Meanwhile, Matriculation Part 1 exams are slated to begin on March 19.

Moving to the intermediate level, Part 2 exams are set to kick off on April 15, followed by Part 1 exams on May 3, allowing students to adequately prepare for their assessments.

The Education Department has efficiently communicated these vital details to all schools through an official notification.

This proactive approach aims to ensure that educational institutions and students are well-prepared for the upcoming examinations and the commencement of the new academic year.

TENTATIVE DATE SHEET FOR MATRIC EXAMS

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has annouced tentaive date sheet for the 9th and 10th annual examinations 2024.

The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen has coordinated efforts to ensure uniformity across all educational boards in Punjab, assuring that they will adhere to the same date sheet and schedule for the 10th class annual exams.

Morning session papers are slated to start at 8:30 AM, while the evening session exams will commence at 1:30 PM, except on Fridays when the evening session will begin at 2:30 PM.

It’s important to note that this date sheet has been collectively decided by the Punjab Board Committee of Chairman, and the final date sheet will be formally announced by the respective boards in a couple of days.
