Motorway Police recover, return lost diamond rings to US national woman

LAHORE: Motorway Police recovered and returned lost diamond rings worth one million rupees to US national woman setting an example of honesty and responsibility.

According to spokesman of Motorway Police, while travelling to Dera Ghazi Khan from Lahore, US national Dr. Sumera forgot her two diamond rings at M-3 Jaranwala service areas.

The woman informed Motorway Police about the disappearance of her rings.

Patrolling officers Zahid Iqbal, Sultan Khan and Iqbal Khan recovered the diamond rings from service area. On directives of Sector Commander Atif Chaudhry, DSP Hameedullah Niazi contacted the woman.

The patrolling officers after legal formalities returned the diamond rings valuing one million rupees to the Dr Sumera.

DIG Syed Fareed Ali appreciated the patrolling officers for their responsibility and US national woman also lauded the honesty of Motorway Police. INP
