ISLAMABAD: The lift that broke down in Islamabad High Court (IHC) on August 25, trapping Advocate Latif Khosa and fifteen other people for almost 45 minutes, has been repaired.

To enhance safety measures, clear instructions have been prominently displayed outside the elevator, outlining safety protocols and guidelines.

As a precautionary measure, the capacity of the lift has been regulated, with a maximum occupancy limit of eight to ten people at any given time.

To ensure prompt response in the event of an elevator shutdown or an emergency situation, the IHC has appointed a dedicated team of four operators.

The details of these operators, including their mobile contact numbers, have been conspicuously displayed within the elevator for easy access.
