Lahore traffic police to make all licence services online

LAHORE: According to Inspector General Police Punjab Dr Usman Anw, all licencing services in Lahore are slated to be transitioned to an online platform.

“Citizens will be able to obtain their learner licences online starting tomorrow, Sunday, at 6 pm, through mobile applications.

The introduction of the new online system aims to improve the convenience of obtaining Learner’s, Regular, and Renewal of Licences. Concerns regarding system disruptions and malfunctions due to overloading in the license issuance system have been addressed.

The commencement of providing the service to create learner licenses at the front desks of police stations in Punjab will also take effect from tomorrow

According to the Inspector General of Police Punjab, Dr Usman Anwar, all licensing services in Lahore are scheduled to be shifted to an online platform.

Under the new system, online appointments for international licenses will be available starting from December 19, and appointments for new regular licenses can be scheduled online from December 25.
