PESHAWAR: Law enforcement agencies in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) have initiated a sweeping crackdown on more than 1000 government employees who are believed to be linked to the events that occurred on May 9 and 10.
The employees in question hail from various departments, including Education, Health, and Local Bodies, among others. To ensure compliance with legal protocols, these individuals will be subjected to action under the Termination Ordinance.
The KP government has taken a stringent stance on the matter, serving a third show-cause notice to the accused employees. The focus of this investigation involves the identification of culprits through video evidence captured during the incidents on the specified dates.
In the subsequent phase of the operation, those found culpable will face termination from their positions.
