Karachi electric buses to be back on roads from Monday

KARACHI: The Karachi Electric Bus Service will resume operation from next week after a five-days suspension that led the passengers into difficulties.
The Electric vehicle was facing the threat of a complete shutdown as buses running on two of its three routes were suddenly suspended, leaving thousands of passengers stranded.
However, in a fresh development, it was informed on the social media page of people’s bus services that EV-3 (Malir Cantt to Numaish via Johar University Road) will resume its operations from Monday.

Earlier, EV-2 and EV-3 services were suspended because of the unavailability of charging and only one route was functional.

The charge stations were reportedly unable to charge which led the situation to the suspension of buses on two routes.
