Judges who convicted me ‘ignominiously’ resigned one by one: Nawaz Sharif

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz supremo and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday said that he was innocent and the judges who convicted him ‘ignominiously’ resigned one by one.

He further said that one of the judges who convicted him resigned eight months before he was expected to become the Chief Justice.

Addressing the workers in his electoral constituency, NA-130, in Lahore, Nawaz Sharif pondered, “How do I reciprocate this love? Today, I am contemplating deeply on the reason behind your immense affection for me. This bond fills me with pride and honour.

Nawaz Sharif further stated, “It is imperative to uphold the dignity of the green flag and passport.

He further said, “If he had not been ousted would not be unemployed; none of you would be unemployed. We have fallen far behind.”
