IHC adjourns hearing on plea challenging Toshakhana jail sentence until Monday
Documents available with HUM News English suggest that the judge had requested to be transferred to special courts in Islamabad or the Islamabad High Court after he underwent what he calls an “organised social media campaign” against him following the decision in Toshakhana case.
In the letter written to the IHC registrar, judge Humayun said: “During a recent visit of the undersigned to the UK to attend training at the University of Hull, the undersigned (he) and other judicial officers had to undergo a displeasing episodes.”
