Faisalabad: gunmen snatch meat karahi, cash from food delivery boy

FAISALABAD: In a daring daylight robbery in Faisalabad, robbers made off with more than just money as they targeted a food delivery boy, leaving him empty-handed and in shock.

The incident occurred near the D-Ground area, where the delivery rider had been called by the unidentified robbers to deliver their order.

According to the victim, who works for a popular food delivery service, the robbers initially placed an order for a meat karahi and soft drinks. However, as soon as he reached the designated location, they pounced on him.

In addition to snatching his delivery bag, which contained the food items, the gunmen also snatched Rs6,900 in cash from him.

Local police were informed about the incident. The Faisalabad police have registered a case and launched a search operation to apprehend the suspects.

The daring daylight robbery has sent shockwaves through the business community, highlighting the need for improved safety measures for delivery personnel operating in the city.
