Bilawal recalls ZA Bhutto’s political philosophy on Independence Day

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday extended his congratulations to the nation on Independence Day. He also honoured Muhammad Ali Jinnah for his pivotal role in the country’s struggle for independence.

He reminded everyone of the principles instilled by his grandfather, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who conveyed the message that Pakistan belonged to everyone.

“Today, as we celebrate Pakistan’s 76th Independence Day, let us commit to forging a Pakistan where the avenues to prosperity are open to all, regardless of circumstance, wrote Bilawal in a separate message.

“A Pakistan where the aspirations of our youth are realised. A Pakistan where we are stronger for our diversity. A Pakistan for everyone,” his tweet added.

Search giant Google is celebrating the 76th Independence Day of Pakistan today with a special doodle, featuring the Indus River dolphin, to highlight the country’s unique biodiversity.
