WhatsApp introduces multi-account feature for streamlined messaging

WhatsApp

WEB DESK: WhatsApp has unveiled a new feature that enables users to manage multiple accounts on a single device, as announced by Meta.

The feature aims to simplify the user experience by allowing easy switching between different accounts, such as personal and work, without the need for frequent logouts or the use of multiple devices.

However, it’s pertinent to note that the feature is accessible only with two distinct phone numbers. To set up a second account, users will require a second phone number and SIM card, or a phone that supports multi-SIM or eSIM technology.

To activate the feature, users can navigate to their WhatsApp settings, click on the arrow next to their name, and select “Add account.” Users have the flexibility to manage privacy and notification settings for each account.
