According to the grapevine, multiple political parties have reached out to The Rock, urging him to make the leap from the big screen to the political stage and vie for the coveted Oval Office. The buzz gained momentum after a 2021 New York Times survey claimed that a whopping 46 percent of Americans would cast their vote for Dwayne if he threw his hat into the presidential ring.

During a candid chat on Trevor Noah’s What Now? podcast, The Rock expressed his astonishment at the poll results, saying, “The poll was very interesting. I was really moved by that. And I was really, uh, blown away. I was really honored.” The Jumanji star spilled the beans that political parties came knocking at his door in late 2022, fueled by the staggering support indicated in the survey. “It was a big deal, and it came out of the blue,” he added.

When pressed by the witty host about the possibility of running for president, Dwayne responded, “My goal has never been to be in politics. Matter of fact, there are a lot of things about politics that I hate.” However, in a twist that keeps us on the edge of our seats, he hinted at a potential change of heart, stating, “I would reconsider the decision regarding running for the president’s office if people are really passionate about my candidacy.”
