Kinza Hashmi, Karan Wahi to star in Rahat Fateh Ali’s music video

KARACHI: Pakistan actress Kinza Hashmi will be pairing up with Bollywood actor Karan Wahi in a new music video for singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s new song ‘Mere Ho Jao’.

The song, penned by Mani Manjot, is set to release on August 15. The project is in collaboration with Project 91 and Saaz Nawaz Entertainment.

Both actors shared the news on their Instagram accounts. Hashmi said that she was “was a little nervous initially but the love pouring in from across the border is overwhelming.” She said it was a project very close to her heart because it involved her favourite legendary singer.

She said it was her first time working alongside the Bollywood actor. Wahi said “this song goes beyond borders on 15th August.” 

Last month, the pair posted a teasing picture on both their accounts hinting at this collaboration. It was picture of both actor looking into each other’s eyes with the caption ‘coming soon’.

Kinza Hashmi made her debut in 2014 with Adhura Milan and later appeared in several serials. She is best known for playing Rushna in Hum TV’s romantic drama Ishq Tamasha, for which she was nominated for Best Actress in Negative Role at Hum Awards.
