ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Army killed two terrorists, including a highly wanted militant involved in high profile attacks, in an operation in Tank on Friday.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations, the operation was intelligence-based and was conducted on the night between January 4 and 5.

During the conduct of operation, after an intense fire exchange, two terrorists, including HVT Gul Yousaf @ Toor, were sent to hell,” ISPR said.

“Terrorist Gul Yousaf remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces including high profile terrorist attacks in Tank and DI Khan districts as well as extortion and target killing of innocent civilians,” the statement added.

The terrorist was highly wanted and the government had placed a head money of Rs2.5 million on him.

ISPR said that security forces were committed to eliminate terrorism from the country ‘in step’ with the people.
