Three-member car lifter gang busted

FAISALABAD: The Anti-Car Lifting Squad on Monday successfully dismantled a criminal gang in Faislabad engaged in the illicit alteration of vehicle chassis numbers. According to a police spokesperson, this three-member gang, comprised Ghulam Mustafa, Irshad Mahmood, and Amanat.

The gang was actively involved in tampering with chassis and engine numbers of vehicles. Subsequently, they would sell these modified vehicles while using counterfeit documents to facilitate their illegal operations.

The police have taken immediate action by registering a case against the accused individuals.
