Terrorist killed, soldier martyred in Khyber district: ISPR

ISLAMABAD: A Pakistan army soldier was martyred and a terrorist killed during an exchange of fire between security forces and militants in the Terah area of Khyber district, there was an exchange of fire.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Havaldaar Muntazir Shah embraced martyrdom during the gunfire exchange with militants.

The martyred soldier demonstrated exceptional valour in the line of duty, the ISPR said.

The killed militant was involved in the killing of both security forces and civilians.

“An ongoing operation is in progress in the area to eliminate possible militants and restore peace.”
