ISLAMABAD: The annual elections of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) are set to take place on Tuesday (tomorrow) with a heated contest anticipated between the Hammad Khan and Asma Jahangir groups.

In this highly anticipated electoral battle, Mian Abdul Qadus is the candidate for the president’s position from the Hammad Khan group, while Shahzad Shaukat is contesting for the president’s slot from the Asma Jahangir group.

Furthermore, Sultan Hazoor is the secretary candidate from the Hammad Khan group, while Syed Ali Imran is the secretary hopeful from the Asma Jahangir group.

The SCBA elections will see 3,775 lawyers exercise their voting rights, with 12 polling stations established throughout the country for the convenience of the voters.

The legal fraternity eagerly awaits the outcome of these crucial elections, as they will significantly impact the direction and leadership of the SCBA.
