‘Social media campaign against Islamabad CJ being run from abroad’

ISLAMABAD: Legal experts have noted that the social media campaign against Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice,  Aamer Farooq, is not limited to Pakistan; it is also being conducted from abroad. The campaign is active in countries such as the United States, Canada, and Britain, among others, as reported by these legal experts.

These experts point out that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is also involved in the campaign against CJ IHC.

In this coordinated campaign, the use of controversial hashtags is being observed, as highlighted by legal experts. Additionally, the social media campaign includes various posters and videos, as well, as stated by these legal experts.

Legal expert Qausain Faisal Mufti has suggested that PTI should direct its workers to refrain from running the campaign against CJ IHC.

PTI Chairman in July expressed no confidence in CJ Aamer Farooq, accusing him of having ‘deep and settled bias’ against him.
