Metro, Orange Line offer free service to senior citizens, special persons and students

LAHORE: The Punjab government on Monday approved the provision of free travel facilities to senior citizens, special persons, and students on the Metro and Orange Line.

The decision was taken during the 25th meeting of the Punjab Cabinet held under the chair of Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Multan on Monday which deliberated on a 39-point agenda.

The meeting was attended by provincial ministers, advisors, chief secretary, Inspector General Police (IGP) and officials of concerned departments.

The caretaker cabinet also gave approval to increase the minimum salary of workers to Rs32,000.

Caretaker CM Mohsin Naqvi was directed to issue the notification in this regard. INP
