LAHORE:  As the anticipation grows for the return of Nawaz Sharif, comprehensive plans have been put into action for his arrival at the Minar Pakistan Jalsa Gah from the airport, according to party sources.

Leaders from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) central team are set to welcome their party leader upon his arrival at Lahore Airport.

Two plans, labeled Plan A and Plan B, have been devised for Nawaz Sharif’s journey to the rally venue. Under Plan A, the former Prime Minister will be transported to the gathering location by helicopter, as revealed by party insiders. In contrast, Plan B envisions Nawaz Sharif’s road journey to the rally via Mall Road or Ring Road.

A three-story stage is currently being erected at the Minar Pakistan rally venue, as per party sources. The first floor will be exclusively reserved for central leaders, including Nawaz Sharif, Shahbaz Sharif, and Maryam Nawaz. The second floor is designated for senior party leaders and former federal ministers.

To accommodate the attendees effectively, separate enclaves will be established within the venue, corresponding to National Assembly constituencies, a party insider reported. These enclaves will also cater to various sub-organizations, including women, youth, farmers, lawyers, and the minority wing.

The venue will see the presence of former Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), ticket holders, and constituency workers, party sources confirmed. Caravans arriving via Shahdara and Niazi Chowk will be provided parking on Ravi Road, while those coming from Multan Road and Ferozepur Road will be directed to the Taxila Gate side for parking.

The central leaders are expected to enter through the rear gate of Minar Pakistan, offering a well-organized process for their arrival. In terms of seating, each enclave within the venue will be equipped with 3,500 to 5,500 chairs, as disclosed by party sources.

The rally’s visual and auditory appeal will be enhanced with six large SMD screens, as confirmed by party insiders. Additionally, a fireworks display is in the works to mark Nawaz Sharif’s arrival at the gathering point, according to party sources.

The responsibility of bringing workers to the event has been assigned to ticket holders, former provincial assembly members, and former members of the National Assembly. Ticket holders and former provincial assembly members will each be responsible for bringing 3,500 and 5,000 workers, respectively, to the rally venue, party sources detailed.
