PM to attend Balochistan Apex Committee meeting today

ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar will visit Quetta today to attend the 14th meeting of Balochistan Apex Committee meeting.

According to sources, the meeting is scheduled to take place at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Quetta.

The meeting will be presided over by caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar, caretaker Chief Minister Mir Ali Mardan Domki and Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir

Officials said that all top officials of the Balochistan government, security forces and other institutions will attend the meeting.

Minister vows court martial of security officials involved in cross-border smuggling

In the meeting, the implementation of the National Action Plan in Balochistan will be considered. Other agenda of the meeting includes discussions on matters related to illegal foreign residents in Balochistan, crime and smuggling prevention, funding for universities and law and order.

Important decisions are expected to be taken at the meeting.
