Pakistan witnesses decline in gold price

KARACHI: The price of gold in Pakistan witnessed a decrease of Rs1900 per tola on Wednesday according to the Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers’ Association (APSGJA).

After the decrease, the price of the gold metal per tola reached Rs 232,600. The price of 10 grams stands at Rs199,417 witnessing a decrease of Rs1629.

Gold traders and investors have been advised to keep an eye on market fluctuations and make informed decisions accordingly.

Separately, The Pakistani rupee weakened by Rs0.63 against the US dollar and closed at Rs299.64 in the interbank market on Wednesday the State Bank of Pakistan said.

The Pakistani currency depreciated by -0.21 per cent against the US dollar.
