In the opening One Day International (ODI) of the three-match series against Afghanistan, held in Hambantota, Sri Lanka, the Pakistan cricket team has set a target of 202 runs for Afghanistan.
Mujeeb Ur Rehman’s three wickets played a pivotal role in Afghanistan’s effort to dismiss Pakistan for a total of 201 runs. Opting to bat first, Pakistan encountered consistent wicket losses, yet Imam-ul-Haq’s notable contribution of 61 runs provided stability. Shadab Khan’s contribution of 39 and Iftikhar Ahmed’s 30 runs also added to the scoreboard.
