No decision to hike gas price: Petroleum Division

ISLAMABAD: The Petroleum Division (PD) declared on Tuesday that they are not planning to raise gas prices across the country. Dismissing a news report titled “CCI approves 25 per cent hike in sale price of gas” published in certain media outlets as inaccurate and contrary to the facts, the PD emphasized that no decision regarding gas prices was made during the CCI proceedings.

The statement also addressed the paragraph suggesting that the CCI had endorsed a rise in the sale price of natural gas to third parties on a commercial basis from 10 per cent to 35 per cent.
