‘Nawaz Sharif will unveil next course of action at Minar-e-Pakistan’


LONDON: Former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif announced on Friday that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif will unveil his next course of action at Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore.

Speaking to reporters in London following a party meeting, Shehbaz Sharif underscored the significance of the occasion, noting that it marked Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan after an extended absence, eagerly anticipated by his supporters.

Reflecting on the 2018 elections, Shehbaz Sharif asserted that Nawaz Sharif’s mandate had been unfairly wrested away, leading to his exclusion from active politics. He attributed Nawaz Sharif’s return to the collective prayers of the people.

During the party meeting, Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the meeting’s importance, acknowledging the substantial challenges faced during the past four years and acknowledging that their resolution would not be immediate.

Shehbaz Sharif also highlighted the achievements of Nawaz Sharif’s previous tenure, specifically citing improvements in the electricity supply and the creation of employment opportunities for young individuals.

“We stand ready to recommence Pakistan’s path to progress. We will pick up where we left off and chart a new course forward,” he proclaimed.

Furthermore, the former premier reaffirmed Nawaz Sharif’s unwavering commitment to responsible leadership, stating, “Nawaz Sharif has never issued erroneous statements to the nation.”

The address by Nawaz Sharif at Minar-e-Pakistan is expected to shed light on his future plans and aspirations, generating anticipation among both his supporters and political observers.
