Lahore: nine-year-old domestic worker allegedly murdered by employer

LAHORE: A nine-year-old domestic worker’s dead body was found in a house located in Baghbanpura, Lahore, after which the father of the deceased child accused the house owner of his son’s murder.

Ehsan, the nine-year-old domestic worker, had been employed at a property dealer’s residence for the past five years. His mother alleges that her son was killed by the house owner following abuse.

The family’s First Information Report (FIR) states that they were not permitted to see their son for five years. 

The FIR further states that the accused called them and informed them that their son had committed suicide. The family further claimed that the accused had already taken their son’s body to the morgue before their arrival.

The police have registered a murder case against the property dealer and launched an investigation. The child’s body has been sent for post-mortem.
