LAHORE: In a breakthrough in Lahore bus shooting case, the Lahore Police announced the arrest of the seventh accused involved in the shooting incident. On Thursday, a shooting incident targeted a bus carrying college students on Multan Road. The arrest was confirmed by the police spokesperson.

The spokesperson revealed that the apprehended individual has a criminal record of peddling drugs. As investigations progress, authorities are working to determine the specific role played by this apprehended accused in the bus shooting incident that targeted female students. The identities of the six individuals who directly opened fire have already been established and made public.

Lahore police has already recorded statements of 27 students, driver and two educators. Moreover, on Saturday, an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) sent the six individuals already arrested to jail on judicial remand.
