Is Saudi Arabia in talks with Tesla for EV factory?

Web Desk: The Wall Street Journal on September 18 reported that Saudi Arabia has initiated preliminary discussions with US electric automaker Tesla regarding the establishment of a manufacturing facility within the kingdom.

The news report emerged shortly after Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan reportedly urged Tesla CEO Elon Musk to consider constructing a vehicle factory in Turkey, as disclosed by the country’s communications directorate.

However, while sharing a screenshot of the article on ‘X,’ previously known as Twitter, Musk labelled it as “utterly false.”
