Is Mahira Khan getting married to Salim Karim next month?

ISLAMABAD: Anushay Talha, the manager of actress Mahira Khan, has criticised the news reports suggesting that Mahira Khan will be marrying her long-time beau Salim Karim, in September, labelling them as ‘irresponsible journalism’.

Speaking to Geo, Anushay, the manager, mentioned that these reports have been published without any official statements from either family. However, she refrained from confirming or denying the rumours.

According to the news reports, the wedding is allegedly scheduled to take place next month in September at a renowned Hill Station in Punjab, with the attendance of close relatives and friends.

Who is Salim Karim?

Salim Karim is a businessman and the CEO of Simpaisa, a startup located in Karachi. This company specializes in network carrier billing and enables individuals to make payments directly through their SIM cards.

Mahira Khan was previously wedded to Ali Askari in 2007, but the couple underwent a divorce in 2015. They share a son named Azlan.

On the work front, Mahira is all set to return to the small screen with the upcoming drama series Razia. Her most recent television appearance was in the drama serial Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay. Last year, Mahira marked her debut in production with the web series titled “Baarwan Khiladi.”
