Interior ministry puts Bushra Bibi on ECL

ISLAMABAD: On Monday, the Ministry of Interior added Bushra Bibi, the wife of former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, to the Exit Control List (ECL) about the £190 million NCA scandal case.

This move follows the accountability court’s decision on November 11, where the status of Bushra Bibi was shifted from a witness to an accused based on available evidence. She is scheduled to undergo investigation as an accused at the National Accountability Bureau (NAB)  office on November 13.

NAB has dispatched an 11-point questionnaire to the former first lady, Bushra Bibi, pertaining to the £190 million scandal case.

In the ongoing investigation into the £190 million scandal case, the anti-corruption watchdog has sought detailed information on various questions from Bushra Bibi.

The NAB has inquired about the educational qualifications of Bushra Bibi and whether she pursued any Islamic teaching courses.
