Imran Khan summoned in illegal marriage case

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan was summoned by the court in the case related to alleged illegal marriage with Bushra Bibi.

Senior Civil Judge Qudratullah summoned Imran Khan to court on December 18 in the case of marriage during Iddat,

The court granted Bushra Bibi’s appeal for exemption from one day’s attendance and ordered her to submit a personal bond worth Rs50,000 as security.

The court stated that the presence of PTI founder on video link from Adiala Jail could not be ensured. The jail superintendent should ensure the presence of PTI founder at the next hearing.

Civil Judge Qudratullah added that the copies of the complaint and other documents have been provided to the parties.

The next hearing of the marriage case will be held on December 18.
