ISLAMABAD: In a surprising turn of events, Pakistan’s renowned all-rounder Imad Wasim has officially declared his retirement from international cricket.

The announcement came through a tweet in which Wasim expressed his gratitude to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and his fans, acknowledging that representing Pakistan had been a dream come true for him.

Imad Wasim, who donned the green jersey in a total of 121 T20 and ODI matches, leaves behind a legacy marked by impressive performances. In 55 ODIs, he showcased his batting prowess by amassing a total of 986 runs and displaying his bowling skills with 44 wickets to his credit.

The all-rounder’s impact was equally felt in the T20 format, where he played 66 matches, accumulating 486 runs and clinching an impressive 65 wickets.
