How much did Pakistan spend on food imports in two months?

FAISALABAD: In the first two months of the fiscal year 2023-24, Pakistan’s food imports amounted to Rs378.98 billion, as reported by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
The data reveals significant imports of palm oil at Rs158.7 billion and soybean oil at Rs13.56 billion over the two-month period.
The data also revealed that tea imports surged to Rs31.64 billion during this period, a notable increase compared to the Rs20.23 billion imported in the same period last year.

Moreover, Pakistan imported pulses worth Rs48.25 billion during the initial two months of the fiscal year 2023-24.
Additionally, dry fruit imports exceeded Rs2 billion in the last two months, according to the PBS. INP
