Gold touches new heights in domestic, global market

KARACHI: The cost of gold has experienced a significant increase as 24-karat gold per tola in the domestic market by Rs 2,200 reaching a new high at Rs 222,280.

Similarly, for a quantity of 10 grams of gold per tola, the price has seen an uptick of Rs 1,886 standing at Rs 191,015.

On the global stage, the rates for gold per ounce have witnessed a $20 increase, bringing the new figure to $2,105.

The surge in gold prices on both the international and domestic fronts is impacting markets and drawing attention to the dynamic nature of precious metal values.
